I recently stayed at B&B Hotel Paris Est and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were helpful and the night staff went above and beyond to find me a meal after midnight. The facility was clean and the bedrooms, although small as expected in Europe, were comfortable with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was hit and miss, but they accommodated my wife's dietary needs. The price quality was surprisingly good, especially for a reliable chain hotel in Paris.
